Import Equipment Button
EL-CID Online allows users to ensure continuity and accuracy of Certification Requests by importing equipment descriptions from previous certification requests to use when creating new applications.
To import equipment information from a previous application, click on the button in the toolbar. When the dropdown opens, select
. The following screen will appear:

Select a previous application to upload.
After the upload is complete, the popup window will populate equipment options for import.

Select the desired equipment and select the button. Links to the imported equipment will appear in the Navigation Panel on the left.

EL-CID Online will only import equipment information from valid SSRF V3.0 (or higher) XML documents.
Because the imported equipment is now part of a new certification request for a new system, the equipment will be marked "Unapproved" and will be editable, even if the equipment had previously been approved for certification as part of another request.
